“My wild spirit is my deepest truth, my greatest expression and my highest love.
It cannot be contained. It defies rules and explanations and logic.
I embrace my untamed spirit and unleash her into a world that is meant to be filled with joy and love and laughter.
I feel the wind in my hair, lift my gaze to the sky, raise my arms and invite the thunder.
I remember how great it feels to be exposed and wildly alive.”
-Adrrienne Enns
Cassie is a somatic researcher, clinically licensed therapist, trauma educator, storyteller, and artist.
Her work is a living laboratory dedicated to studying how humans reawaken their innate intelligence through the body.
With a background of helping people feel better for over 25 years, she embodies deep training in unlocking our limiting paradigms through subconscious inner work, inner child healing, and creating greenhouses for sensitive humans to grow up in or sensory- safe communities.
She bridges psychological research with the mystical and mythic realms of human experience. Her body of work, including Somagik, The S.I.M.P.L.E. Method, and the upcoming book that explores how imagination, emotion, and energy co-regulate the nervous system and catalyze transformation.
Cassie’s research investigates what happens when humans remember who they were before conditioning: before the “good girl,” the “fixer,” or the “performer.”
Through immersive laboratories, retreats, and online communities, she teaches the teachers and heals the healers...helping old souls stabilize in higher frequencies, reclaim creative power, and rejoin the earth as conscious collaborators in evolution.
Her work is part science experiment, part soul revival, and all about the rehabilitation of beauty, wonder, and courage.

It all begins with a story...
From a young age I felt like I landed on the wrong planet. I saw the world with eyes of wonder, color, sound, and I just knew things. By the age of 10, I knew I was here to teach and create experiences for people. My sister though always said I was going to be a comedian :) and that's probably closer to my truth.
As a deeply creative soul, I yearned to be all things - photographer, school counselor, archeologist, dancer, professor, and clothing designer - so choosing a "path" where there really wasn't one has been a complete paradigm shift in learning to listen to my heart and body. If it wasn't for my dedication to showing up consistently for myself and healing my nervous system and my relationship with my emotions, I would not have made space in my inner ecosystem to embody more heart and soul (and that's why I am so passionate about helping you).
I am a life-long learner, (it's my favorite thing!). I forever saw myself as Dr. Jones and thought I would end up getting my Ph.D. and embodying that college professor that handed you the paradigm shift that could illuminate a larger life. Even though I love learning, it has not been an easy path for me. I'm dyslexic, don't retain much of anything and have bad (not mad :) grammar skills. Therefore, I do not learn like most people or at least what was offered to me in public school and college education.
I chose to get a Ph.D. in my own human potential...
I have taste-tested many worlds on my life adventure thus far, and one puzzle piece always leads to the next. And I don't know about you, but I did not get the guidebook on how to do much of anything yet the one on "how to be a magical, neurospicy child in a way too linear and serious world". (Oof, that struggle has been real!!!) What I did get was a thick file folder on how not to be- shame for being too much, too weird, and the boring modeling for how to keep it together.
I have been a licensed cosmetologist, running my own business, since the age of 19. (So, in many cases, I have been doing "hair-apy" and supporting people to feel better, inside and out, for over two decades.) After a couple of years behind the hair chair, I knew I needed more challenge and mental stimulation, so I stepped into the higher education box, went to college, and got three degrees in researching how in the hell do we "human" here on earth?? I have had experience working in many of the systems: K-12 school systems, child protective services, domestic violence shelters, churches, and jails.
I have led groups and women's circles for 20 years - since 2005, and I've been teaching classes since 2008 - on all kinds of subjects, from psychology 101 to chakra healing, and breathwork techniques. For the last 8 years, I have held sacred space in a private therapeutic practice in Lawrence, Kansas, where I offer expressive healing sessions, teach weekly groups, and hold breathwork retreats. And let's me be honest, I did not just go out and read a book or take an online class, or a weekend workshop, to gather this knowledge, I have invested a lot of time and money in myself and my healing. I showed up over and over again (and still do) in healing circles and hired mentors, therapists, and Shamans to guide me home.
Recovering your wholeness is a lifestyle choice in upgrading your consciousness. It is re-learning, re-loving, and re-listening to all parts of you.
Embodiment is our purpose. It's how we know why we are here.
Becoming more conscious, more alive, and more connected is why we are here. To leave a legacy of love and live life as fully as we can.
I want to help you reclaim and embody your magic.

Why am I so passionate and dedicated to this work?!
Look at little me...frozen eyed, already performing, and drinking the "good girl kool-aid".
I don't know about you, but suffering from the GOOD GIRL VIRUS has been so exhausting! Being the oldest daughter and the "cycle breaker" - aka the first to learn, express, and receive emotional and energetic intelligence, has been a heavy task.
No one talks about all that it takes to break codependent family programming, heal your inner child and ancestral trauma, and slow way the hell down to start noticing,. But I am living proof that yes, it is exhaustingly painful, and it's beautifully liberating.
I have always been the green, earth-loving sheep of my family and the only one who jumped in head first on the healing path. So when I look at little me in this picture, I promise her often that I am learning who she is and it takes so much compassion and patience. It helps me remember that I am continuously creating a life where she gets to experiment as she discovers all of who she is as she deserves to experience the full spectrum of beauty, the width of pleasure, and to know it's safe enough for her to be the creative, feminist, heart-centered human she came here to be.

My biggest star...
Is my own embodied research. I have taken so many workshops and trainings, but it was only when I started learning my own language that it became a consistent lifestyle choice to support my body - that is my intuitive tuning fork - and understanding that I am the laboratory I was seeking. I have danced heavily with grief and anger so that I can hold space for yours. And I would love to share my story and research with you and you can see if you can relate or if our frequencies align. If you want to read more about my journey or the lens from which I practice, you can take a seat, pour some tea, and walk with me as I share my journey & my research.
"In many shamanic societies, if you came to a shaman or medicine person complaining of being disheartened, dispirited, or depressed, they would ask one of four questions. When did you stop dancing? When did you stop singing? When did you stop being enchanted by stories? When did you stop finding comfort in the sweet territory of silence? Where we have stopped dancing, singing, being enchanted by stories, or finding comfort in silence is where we have experienced the loss of soul. Dancing, singing, storytelling, and silence are the four universal healing salves."
